|  | | Gerold Schley | Milacron LLC, Batavia, OH/USA, has chosen Gerold Schley to lead its plastics machinery operations in China. As Vice President China Operations and Global Sourcing, Schley will assume responsibility for all of the company's plastics machinery businesses in China, including Milacron Marketing – China, as well as the company's joint venture in Jiangyin. Gerold Schley will report directly to David Lawrence, President Worldwide Plastics and DME Company LLC.
Having served as Milacron's Vice President of Global Sourcing since 2006, Schley, 49, has worked extensively in China and throughout Asia to develop key relationships with suppliers and customers for Milacron's global operations.
In a related action, Milacron named Jay Woerner Vice President of India Operations, allowing him to focus exclusively on the company's plastics machinery operations in that region. Ferromatik Milacron India Ltd., a strategically important joint venture, has a strong record of expansion and success over the past ten years and continues to show potential for further growth. Woerner will also report directly to Dave Lawrence.
Woerner, 60, joined Milacron in 2003 as Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Sourcing. Prior to that he held key managerial positions in the U.S. auto parts industry for over 30 years.
