Evaluating Shaping Properties
A design classification seeks to broaden the uses of natural-fiber-reinforced plastics. Detailed analyses of wall thickness make an important contribution to characterizing the shaping properties of compression molded parts reinforced with natural fibers. Appropriate measuring methods involve hand-held laser scanning and fringe projection with a 3-D camera system.
